Setup and Check Voicemail
Setting up voicemail
The first time you access the Message Center, the system will walk your through your voicemail setup. To access the Message Center, press or press the Connect soft key.
Checking voicemail
Press or press the Connect soft key, and follow the prompts.
Place Calls
Using the handset
- Pick up the handset.
- Enter the number, and then press the Send soft key.
Using the speakerphone
- With the handset on-hook, press
.
- Enter the number, and then press the Send soft key.
Using the headset
- With the headset connected, press
to activate the headset mode.
- Enter the number, and then press the Send soft key.
Note: During a call, you can alternate between the headset, hands-free speakerphone and handset modes by pressing the Headset key, the Speakerphone key, or by picking up the handset. Headset mode requires a connected headset.
Answer Calls
Using the Handset
Pick up the handset.
Using the speakerphone
Press.
Using the headset
Press.
Note: You can reject an incoming call by pressing the Reject soft key.
End Calls
Using the handset
Hang up the handset or press the EndCall soft key.
Using the speakerphone
Pressor the EndCall soft key.
Using the headset
Press the EndCall soft key.
Redial
Pressto enter the Placed Calls list, press
or
to select the desired entry, and then press or
the Send soft key.
Presstwice when the phone is idle to dial out the last dialed number.
Mute and Un-mute Calls
Pressto mute the microphone during a call.
Pressagain to unmute the call.
Hold and Resume Calls
To place a call on hold
Pressor the Hold soft key during an active call.
To resume the call, do one of the following:
- If there is only one call on hold, press
or the Resume soft key.
- If there is more than one call on hold, press
or
to select the desired call, and then press
or the Resume soft key.
Transfer Calls
Blind transfer
- Press
or the Transfer soft key during an active call. The call is placed on hold.
- Enter the number to which you want to transfer the call.
- Press
or the B Transfer soft key.
Consultative transfer
- Press
or the Transfer soft key during an active call. The call is placed on hold.
- Enter the number you want to transfer to, and then press the Send soft key.
- When the second party answers, press
or the Transfer soft key to complete the transfer.
Direct to voicemail transfer
- Press
or the Trans soft key during an active call. The call is placed on hold.
- Enter the number you want to transfer to, and wait for recipient's phone to ring
- When the second party answers, press
or the Trans soft key.
Forward Calls
- Press the Menu soft key when the phone is idle, and then select Features->Call Forward.
- Select the desired forward type:
- Always Forward - Incoming calls are forwarded unconditionally.
- Busy Forward - Incoming calls are forwarded when the phone is busy.
- No Answer Forward - Incoming calls are forwarded if not answered after a period of time.
- Enter the number you want to forward to. For No Answer Forward, press
or
to select the desired ring time to wait before forwarding from the After Ring Time field.
- Press the Save soft key to accept the change.
Make a Conference Call
- Press the Conference soft key during an active call. The call is placed on hold.
- Enter the number of the second party, and then press the Send soft key.
- Press the Conference soft key again when the second party answers. All parties are now joined in the conference.
- Press the EndCall soft key to disconnect all parties.
Note: You can split the conference call into two individual calls by pressing the Split soft key.
Access and Use Call History
- Press the History soft key when the phone is idle. Press
or
to scroll through the list.
- Once an entry is highlighted, you can:
- Press the Send soft key to call the entry.
- Press the Delete soft key to delete the entry from the list.
- Press the Option soft key to:
- Select Detail to view detailed information about the entry.
- Select Add to Contact to view detailed information about the entry.
- Select Add to Blacklist to add the entry to the blacklist.
- Select Delete All to delete all entries from the list.
Access and Manage Contact Directory
To add a contact
- Press the Directory soft key when the phone is idle, then select All Contacts.
- Press the Add soft key to add a contact.
- Enter a unique contact name in the Name field and contact numbers in the corresponding fields.
- Press the Save soft key to accept the change.
To edit a contact
- Press the Directory soft key when the phone is idle, then select All Contacts.
- Press
or
to select the desired contact, press the Option soft key and then select Detail from the prompt list.
- Edit the contact information.
- Press the Save soft key to accept the change.
To delete a contact
- Press the Directory soft key when the phone is idle, then select All Contacts.
- Press
or
to select the desired contact, press the Option soft key and then select Delete from the prompt list.
- Press OK soft key when the LCD screen prompts, "Delete selected item?"
Adjust Ringer and Call Volume
- Press
during an active call to adjust call volume.
- Press
while the phone is idle or ringing to adjust ringer volume.
Change Ring Tones
- Pressthe Menu soft key when the phone is idle, and then select Basic > Sound > Ring Tones.
- Press
or
to select Common or the desired account, then press the Enter soft key.
- Press
or
to select the desired ring tone.
- Press the Save soft key to accept the change.
Configure Available Phone Keys
You can configure available phone keys as speed dials, one-touch transfer buttons, etc. You configure available phone keys through your ENA SmartVoice End User Portal.
