Product Alert
Cloud Storage (formerly ENA TrustVault) will reach the end-of-life on December 21, 2025. For recommendations and best practices to help guide you in your migration to a new storage solution, click here.

Cloud Storage is a flexible, cost-effective, cloud-based storage solution that enables you to store, access, and manage data via an S3-compliant API.

As a Cloud Storage administrator, you use the my.ena.com portal to:

  • Generate access credentials for yourself and additional users to use with any S3-compliant client
  • Set and manage the Access Types for each user. Access Types specify read/write/share privileges for how that user may access or store data in your Cloud Storage environment
  • View usage info for your Cloud Storage service

You may also use your my.ena.com Cloud Storage portal or an S3-Compliant client to:

  • Manage and organize data stored in your Cloud Storage environment
  • Share urls to files stored in your Cloud Storage environment

Getting Started

Log in to your service.

  1. Point your browser to my.ena.com.
  2. Enter your my.ena.com credentials.
  3. Select Cloud Storage (formerly ENA TrustVault).

Generate your service credentials

In order to work with storage via the my.ena.com portal or to connect an S3 Compliant client to the Cloud Storage service, you need an Access key and Secret key. The S3 API treats the Access key like a username while the Secret key functions as a password. As such, it is important that Secret keys are kept confidential.

These credentials are generated for each user as they're added to Cloud Storage.

The first time you log in to the web interface, you will see a message stating, "Access credentials have not yet been generated for this user.” In order to create and manage buckets using the my.ena.com Cloud Storage interface, you will need to add yourself as a user.

Note
You must use your my.ena.com username in order for the system to validate your account as an administrator so you have full access to all the features available in your my.ena.com portal.

To create Administrator credentials:

  1. Navigate to the Users page.
  2. Click the blue Add button.
  3. Enter the full username you use to log into my.ena.com into the Email address or username field in the Add new user box. You may copy this username from the bottom of the Cloud Storage Manage page or type it in manually.
  4. Next, assign an Access Type to your account. As an administrator, you will most likely want to assign Full access to your account.
  5. Click Add.

You will see your username appear in the User list.
